Over time, these routes were replaced by more modern roads and highways, many of which have since become historic landmarks. Oklahoma has a rich history of transportation, dating back to the 1900s when trails and wagon roads were the primary means of travel. Evidence of this can be found across the highways of the USA, as well as in our upcoming Oklahoma DLC for American Truck Simulator. Road networks have changed drastically over the past few decades with the ever increasing demand for more capacity and routes for the growing population.
